My CBD journey

My journey with CBD began when my cat was diagnosed with a nasty tumour at a young age. The tumour was removed but she was given a poor prognosis, our vet advised that other treatments weren’t recommended, so my husband and I began looking at alternatives to keep her as comfortable as possible

At the time, there had been a lot of coverage in the media about medicinal cannabis, and I wondered about the effects in animals. Our research led us to a documentary series, ‘Gone to Pot’ in which a handful of celebs travelled the US in an RV to become more educated about hemp and cannabis.

It was here that we learned about The Sisters of the Valley, a group of nuns living in the San Francisco valleys who were cultivating, growing and using hemp and cannabis products for healing in a variety of ways – one of these being CBD.

We had to try it! We ordered the oil, and within days of starting it our furbaby improved! She was calmer, less jumpy and began to play again. We couldn’t believe our eyes.

My thoughts turned to me — diagnosed as peri-menopausal several months earlier, and not a candidate for HRT, the symptoms were unbearable. I had trawled the shelves trying what felt like every supplement known to man with little effect. Was CBD the answer?

I sourced a high-quality Swiss manufacturer and didn’t hesitate. It was the best decision I ever made! Overnight my life changed and within a week there was a noticeable reduction in so many of the symptoms I’d been experiencing.

That was over 4 years ago, and I haven’t looked back. I am now a passionate advocate for the legal hemp industry, I work in partnership with The Europe Canna Expo at large London events, and have created an exciting new therapy option of CBD infused reflexology offered here at Reflexology Space London.

I am also available for complimentary consultations to help you understand hemp products and what may suit you. Please use contact form for further information

And my cat? We were blessed with another 5 wonderful years, filled with love and cuddles … far more than we ever hoped for.
