Terms and Conditions for Reflexology Space London
Reflexologists practising within Reflexology Space London are registered as full members of the Association of Reflexologists (AoR). Full membership status of the AoR demonstrates that we have completed a quality, nationally recognised Diploma in Reflexology and have continuous support from the AoR.
As an AoR member:
- Reflexology Space London is bound by the AoR Code of Practice and Ethics.
- Reflexology Space London follows the AoR Good Practice and hygiene guidance policies to ensure client safety.
- Reflexology Space London will always be adequately insured for medical malpractice /professional indemnity requirements.
- Reflexologists practising with Reflexology Space London comply with the AoR Continuing Professional Development requirements which ensures practice is maintained and up to date.
- Reflexology Space London is compliant with GDPR data protection, please see our separate Privacy policy. Your information will always remain confidential.
- As a professional and highly qualified reflexologist with AOR status, you will always receive appropriate, and bespoke treatment and support.
Provision of additional therapies:
- Reflexology Space London offers other modalities in addition to reflexology.
- Appropriate training and qualifications are held for all additional modalities, and all are practiced to the same high standards expected by the AoR for reflexology.
- Reflexology Space London holds adequate insurance for all additional modalities.

1. Appointments
- When making an appointment with Reflexology Space London, you agree to our Terms and Conditions.
- When making an appointment you agree to complete a consultation prior to the treatment and you will disclose any medical or lifestyle information relevant to your treatment.
- Reflexology Space London requires the following from clients:
- If you have an acute illness, a cough, a fever or loss of taste and smell please contact us as we may need to postpone your appointment.
- If you present with any condition or symptom which could be a contraindication, we reserve the right to postpone treatment until medical advice is sought.
- In return Reflexology Space London will apply these high standards to practicing reflexologists. Should we feel unwell, unable to treat or it is inadvisable for us to treat, we will explain the situation to you as soon as possible before your session.
- A reminder of your booking with Reflexology Space London will be sent a minimum of 24 hours in advance of your booked session
2. Fees
- All current Reflexology Space London fees are displayed in full on our website.
- All fees for individual treatments are payable in full at the time of treatment.
- Full payment is required on booking for all Reflexology Space London treatment packages
- When making payment you agree to Reflexology Space London’s terms and conditions
- We reserve the right to use discretion regarding the application of any discounts.
- Payment can be made via – Cash, Bank Transfer, Card
3. Deposits
- Reflexology Space London requires a £10 deposit to secure any booking; this applies to all clients.
- Any session cancelled with less than 24 hours’ notice will require full payment, and any deposits paid will be withheld in line with our cancellation policy below.
Note: deposits are deemed non-refundable to cover actual losses and if expenses have been incurred.
4. Treatment Packages
- Reflexology Space London offers the option to pre-book a package of treatments. These are provided at a discounted rate as they are paid for in advance.
- Treatments purchased as part of a package can be booked during normal working hours with no restrictions.
- If an appointment is booked as part of a package and is then missed, our cancellation policy will apply
- Please Note: Packages of 4 treatments are valid for 3 months from the date of first treatment, and packages of 6 treatments are valid for 4 months from the date of first treatment
- Any treatments not booked within the stated timeframes will be forfeited.
5. Gift Certificates
- Reflexology Space London offers the option to purchase gift certificates for sessions. These may be given as gifts.
- Gift Vouchers can be used to book an appointment during normal working hours with no restrictions.
- If an appointment is booked using a gift certificate and is then missed, our cancellation policy will apply as above.
- Gift certificates are non-refundable and non-transferrable.
- Gift certificates are required to be used within 6 months of purchase, as stated on each individual voucher.
6. Cancellation and Late Arrival Policy
- Whilst we understand, and empathize with life’s emergencies, Reflexology Space London requires 24 hours’ notice if you are unable to attend a booked session.
- Any session cancelled with less than 24 hours’ notice will require full payment, and any deposits paid will be withheld.
- If the session forms part of a treatment package, this session will be forfeited.
- If a gift certificate has been used to book the session, the voucher will be forfeited.
- Cancellation fees are payable prior to any future bookings being made.
- Should you wish to reschedule a booked session, 24 hours’ notice is required in order to reschedule for a mutually agreeable time at no additional cost (this applies to all bookings)
- If you feel unwell or are experiencing difficulties with your health or wellbeing and are concerned about a booked session, please contact us for further advice, a minimum of 24 hours in advance, otherwise cancellation fees will apply.
- If you arrive late for a booked session, Reflexology Space London will endeavor to honor your full session if time permits, however, in some instances this may not be possible, and session length may be adjusted as necessary. In this instance you will still be required to pay the full session fee.
7. Use of background music
- Reflexology Space London plays Royalty free music within our treatment space and are therefore not required to hold a music license.
- I am unable to play your preferred music selection due to UK laws (unless your booked treatment is in your own home).
8. Complementary and Natural Healthcare Council
- Reflexology Space London has chosen to be regulated by the CNHC. The choice to be voluntarily regulated and the extra requirements of us are explained on the CNHC website. https://www.cnhc.org.uk/
9. Special Treatment License
Reflexology Space London holds a Special Treatment License with Essex County Council and is fully compliant with all requirements of this license.
Despite being a member of the AoR and working within a rigid code of practice and ethics, Reflexology Space London is required to hold a license when working from home or within a clinic environment.
